Did You Know?

RUN 4 RAVENSWORTH
The biggest fundraiser of the year is coming! Run 4 Ravensworth 2019 will take place on Friday, May 3. Students will have until May 24 to turn in donations in order to be eligible for prizes. All students will receive an information packet, which includes all of the important details about this exciting event.

This year we have a new website dedicated to helping our kids fundraise: https://secure.eventsonline.us/reg/getmovincrew/pub/school/1494. Each student will have his or her own secure web page to send to friends and family members for donation requests. They’ll be able to track their own progress, as well as the progress of their class and of the entire school. Sign your child up TODAY — it’s super easy, and he or she will collect a small prize just for registering!

We have some great prizes up for grabs this year. The top three fundraisers will receive an iPad or an Amazon gift card. Students who raise $175 or more will be invited to an ice cream party and prize raffle, and those who raise $300 or more will also get to play in a video game truck. There will also be prizes for the girl and boy who run the most laps. Kids will get a prize each time they hit the fundraising milestones of $10, $50, and $100. And, there are classroom incentives, too! Log on and register your child to see all the exciting prizes and sponsors we have this year!

And don’t worry: Friends and family can still donate via cash or check made out to Ravensworth Elementary PTA.

Start collecting those donations and get ready to lace up those sneakers. R4R is going to be awesome!

For questions, please email laps@ravensworthpta.org.
