THE PTA NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Your membership and volunteer hours support programs like Back to School Bash, Medieval Day, the book swap, assemblies, STEM activities, the Spelling Bee, Safety Patrol, art projects, Pioneer Day, teacher education, BINGO night, field trips, Virginia Day, technology and science in the classroom, the book fair, school improvements and Much Much More! This is only possible with your support.

Please sign up and volunteer, whether it's one hour a month, or 2 hours a week. All service is there to support our Ravensworth teachers, school, community and most importantly our children. Please talk to a member of the PTA Board,  email us outreach@ravensworthpta.org, like the PTA Facebook page, or visit our PTA web page for questions.

We will have a table at Open House on August 22 to sign up for PTA Memberships. You may pick from a single membership for $10 or a family membership for $20. You can also let us know what you are interested in volunteering for this year.

Let's make this a great year with the PTA.

RAVENSWORTH TYPING CLUB - STARTS THIS FALL
We are starting a new after school program/club in the fall for keyboarding. The program is intended to instill 4th-6th graders with typing skills needed as they head into secondary school. The club will meet after school on a weekly basis with club dues.

Would this be something your 4th-6th grader would be interested in? Please let us know by emailing programs@ravensworthpta.org

RAVENSWORTH PTA DIRECTORY UPDATE
In May 2018, Governor Northam approved HB-1 Scholastic records, prohibiting access to directory information, which establishes that “no school shall disclose the address, phone number, or email address of a student”. As a result, the PTA will no longer be printing a student directory.

We Can't Do It Without You!

PTA activities and initiatives could not succeed without the hard work of our volunteers. With the 2019-20 school year coming soon, please consider giving your time by volunteering for the many wonderful events we have in store. For more information on how to help, please email president@ravensworthpta.org.
